Step by step method

  • Step 1

    Rinse the cooked beans, place into a pan and cover with water and a pinch of salt. Bring to the boil and simmer for 5 minutes to ensure beans are heated through, then drain.

  • Step 2

    Chop the avocado into small cubes and add to the beans. Add the juice of half the lemon, a pinch of salt and pepper and mix.

  • Step 3

    Toast your bread and place on to a plate and pour on the beans and avocado and it's ready to eat.
