Step by step method

  • Step 1

    Place the frozen french fries onto a non stick baking tray and cook as per instructions on the packet.

  • Step 2

    Empty the mince into a bowl, add a pinch of salt and pepper and mix. Gather together and form a ball of mince then gently pat down to make a burger bun sized patty of equal thickness of 2cm. Heat a non stick frying pan, when hot, place the burger into the pan. Leave for 3 minutes to cook then turn over for a further 2 minutes. Check meat has cooked through and set aside.

  • Step 3

    Empty a packet of washed leafy salad into a bowl and add a teaspoon of balsamic vinegar.

  • Step 4

    Place the burger onto the bun and add the ketchup and mustard. If preferred, you can toast the bun. Add the french fries and salad and dive in!
