Can I drink alcohol while on this diet?

You should try to limit alcohol to zero on any diet you decide to try.  Alcohol is loaded with calories and is like pouring pure fat into your body. If you do have to drink, then do no more than once every 2 months and limit the amount. Honestly, it is better to stop drinking alcohol completely until you reach your target weight and then monitor any weight gain very carefully if you start to drink.
