Exercise is always at the forefront of everybody’s minds when deciding to embark on a weight loss program. However, this is actually an outdated approach. The number one focus should be on Diet and nothing else especially at the start.
For example, a Burger King Double Whopper sandwich can have over 800 calories. To put that into perspective, it would take approximately 8 miles of running to burn off that many calories.
Add in french fries and a large coke and you could be looking at near to 2,000 calories.
This would mean you would need to run 20 miles just to burn off that meal. Let that sink in for a minute.
Rule Number One
Exercise should never be used as a way to lose weight. You can actually put on weight by eating too much afterwards to refuel.
Rule Number Two
The only rule you should follow is to reduce your calories by diet while maintaining a good balance of nutrition. This is the most effective and fastest way to lose weight.
